Waukesha MoneyBaggers

Since the back yard

Club history

How a small backyard league became the Waukesha MoneyBaggers, where we have played, and how we run things now.

How it started

The WMB began as a small group of people who enjoyed hanging out together and playing bags. It was a small league in a back yard, and it soon grew into a club.

Where we have played

  1. A backyard · The league started as a small group of friends who liked hanging out and playing bags, in one back yard.
  2. Sunset Bowl, Waukesha · The league moved to Sunset Bowl in Waukesha and kept growing.
  3. Randy’s Barn · Then Randy’s Barn.
  4. Elks Lodge, winters · Winter nights moved indoors to the Elks Lodge, the home of the Elks Club league.
  5. Sideliners, Thursdays · For a while the club basically took over Sideliners on Thursday nights.

Tournaments

The club has hosted tournaments all over the area, and it has grown a lot over the years.

How the Elks sign-ups work

Elks Club league nights are on Wednesdays, and the Elks can hold up to 50 people each week. Sign-up links go out through the club’s group first, as a thank-you to the people who built the club and who keep it going: the ones who go to the barn, who go camping, and who support Sideliners. It is not meant to be exclusive. It is a way to honor the people who got us to where we are today.
